OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

Training in field research and conservation

We offer both for-credit and paid internships for local college students during the Winter and Spring Quarters, roughly January -June.

Environmental Studies Internship Program
(Field Internship):
Time commitment is 6 hours per week
2-unit equivalent
Winter Quarter - Raptor Species ID and Field Observation Training
Spring Quarter - Independent Field Observation
You must be able to participate in both quarters.

Remote Nest Camera Operator Internship:
Time commitment is 6 hours per week
2-unit equivalent
Available Spring Quarter

Senior Thesis Interns
5-unit internships available to students that have previously completed an internship with our program. Students must propose an independent research project and have demonstrated an aptitude for this subject an ability to commit the time necessary to 

Volunteer Opportunities
Recent graduates or students that cannot make the minimum hourly commitment may be able to participate as nest observers or nest camera operators depending on location and previous training.
